Michael Sagmeister, born in 1959, is internationally regarded as one of the most renowned jazz and fusion guitarists of the present day. He was the first German ever to be a lecturer at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA, and is also a lecturer at all important German jazz and popular music workshops. He has worked with Pat Martino, Larry Coryell, Billy Cobham, Jack de Jonette, Dave Samuels, Randy Brecker, Miroslav Vitous, Albert Mangelsdorff, Wolfgang Dauner, Volker Kriegel, Christoph Spendel, Attila Zoller, Emil Mangelsdorff, HR Big Band, HRF jazz band, Will Kennedy, Gerry Brown and many more. He also has released more than 20 CDs.
